Yom Kippor Besamim Pouch
This project helps kids learn the importance of making Brochos during the course of a day. The custom of snuff boxes on Yom Kippor was to enable a person to make "100 brochos a day" even though they did not eat. Purchase a pakage of "zipper lock" sandwhich bags, construction paper, and assorted stickers and use of glue, scissors, (optional) and cloves. Click on Besamim blessing link and copy. Cut construction paper to twice the size of the length of the bag and fold in half. Decorate side with stickers and glue on blessing for besamim, insert into bag, and add cloves. Seal bag and enjoy for Yom Kipor! |
