Batya and Moishe

Materials: construction paper, oak tag cut into 8x11 sheets, use of glue, markers, scissors, and self stick velcro cut into 1 inch pieces, 5 per project.(one pkg of velcero can do about 10 projects, 1 pkg costs about 2 dollars at ACMoore)

Instructions:

Cut out contruction paper to glue scenery on the oak tag sheet, Blue for the nile, brown for the shore and green for the bushes (see picture).Batya and Moishe in the basket can be copied from the computer and photostated. Batya"s extendable arm is shown in the pictures. A slit is made in the thru the oak tag to facilitate movement of the arm. Velco strips are placed on Batya's arm and on the back of Moishe's basket and on the oak tag where Moishe basket is in the Nile. Miriam is placed on the right corner of the oak tag sheet where the bushes will hide her. The bushes are stuck with velcro to the "hiding Miriam" (see picture).
